Valley...

These are images of the valleys in northwest Viet Nam. 

For me, they are beautiful in the way that here the valleys are transformed by the people. Those beautiful steps are made by farmers to grow rice on. There is a sense of the people working hard on every step, every slope of the valley. Valleys are created by nature and in other places, they can represent the beauty and magnificent of nature but here, they stand among the vastness of wild nature to represent the cleverness, the patience and the hard-working of humans.
This is the valley I made in the CryENGINE

EXp2 Final: The Space Between

Firstly, these are three textures light, medium and dark I used for the models:
For I choose this one for Walter Burley Griffin's monument. Since the monument involved in nature so I think it's appropriate to use curvy texture. Other reasons for using curvy, dark texture in Griffin's monument is that there are also curvy structure in Griffin's design and the dark tone is supposed to balance with the light tone I will use in Ando's monument.


 For Ando's monument, I choose Square light texture. I think it suits Ando's monument better than some curvy texture because Ando's designs focus on the geometric aspect, very simple and often have square shape in them. And because it is a monument about light, I choose light tone for it to emphasis the concept the monument based on.


For the meeting space between the two monument, I choose miscellaneous, medium tone texture. It is because the space is common ground for people coming from two different monuments.
The tone of the texture is increased when going from Ando's monument through the meeting space to Griffin's monumnet.
Next is the images of my environment:
The Floor of meeting space has misellaneous, medium texture.

The terrain becomes part of the stairs connecting between space. 


The roof of meeting space has radient texture from EXP1 and the glass encarved with the symbol of moon and sun as a signal for balance and the blending of the two concepts.


The bridge comes to the top of both monuments




The space inside the base of Griffin's monument has steps to lead up and window to look out.






The Glass pole shelter the stair lead to the bridge. Visitors standing inside will be inclosed in glass and light.
