A great piece of architecture
This is Fallingwater - one of my most favorite buildings, by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1935. It is such a unique and beautiful house that have ever been made. This is the photo I got from http://www.galenfrysinger.com/ of the house in autumn. The house blended so perfectly, harmoniously and naturally with its surrounding. The house is not at all swallowed by the nature (it stands on top of a fall !) and it doesn't dominate the nature either (gray stone, cream walls, brown windows,...) Not to mention the fact that it was hugely difficult to build such a house in those days, I think it is so amazing that people can create something that can coexist so beautifully with nature.
